The demons of the Obsidian Grove value order, loyalty, and power above all else. Their days are harsh, but comfortably predictable. Whether they live in the badlands, the bamboo forests, or the misty moors of the eastern region of the Grove, survival and dominance are fundamental to a demon's existence. Very little is more satisfying to them than using their brute strength, regenerative abilities, and for some, mastery over elemental magic, to see where they stand in the hierarchy of power.

The demons of the Obsidian Grove all have a level of magically enhanced strength and regenerative powers. Additionally, many have the ability to channel specialized powers.
Magic Type: Demonic
Subtype: Bone (1 of 8)
Description: The ability to manipulate and grow bones that originate within the user’s body. This typically results in offensive, dagger-like protrusions, but some demons will also form armor-like defenses when the occasion calls for it. The defensive approach allows for demons to not rely so heavily on their magical, regenerative healing powers.
Magic Type: Demonic
Subtype: Hair (2 of 8)
Description: The ability to manipulate and grow hair that originates from the user. Novices, or demons who do not fully embrace this power, will often only use it for entrapment purposes. However, masters can grow their proficiency to wield the hair in more dangerous offensive and defensive ways - as a near invisible weapon to slice through their enemies or encase themselves in a near impenetrable suit of armor.
